A pair of enamel and diamond tiger-head cufflinks

A fine pair of American enamel and diamond tiger-head cufflinks, each tiger-head exquisitely laid with Thompson's leaded opalescent enamel in shades of rich gold, rose and black, each tiger set with a round brilliant-cut diamond to each eye and within the teeth of an open jaw, the six diamonds totalling an estimated weight of 0.45 carats, all to a yellow hinged bar cufflink fitting, gross weight 35.8 grams, circa 1890.
